Reasons to choose our PLC Controller

  • Simple interface, easy to use. Our PLC controller embraces simplicity in its design, which makes it easier for people without much experience in automation systems to build a simple, easy-to-control system. This programming language is LADDER LOGIC, which is the most common language for PLC programming, also easiest to master for people from electricity background.

  • Free software programming kit with all features including simulator and live run. The programming kit is totally free with simulation run available. You can also connect your computer to PLC for live run to see what’s happening. Here’s a screen-grab of the programming kit, you can tell it’s not as messy, as daunting as other PLC brands:

  • Rich resources by google. Our Ladder Logic programming adopts the same standard as Mitsubishi PLC with slight differences, which means in most cases, if you don’t know how to program, other than our technical experts and user manual to go to for help, you can also google about how to do it on Mitsubishi PLC.
  • Simple but big register selection. D Register (D0-D7999) is to store numbers and floating numbers (or analogue data). D200-D7999 are retainable addresses which would lose its content in case of power failure. M Register(M0-M7999) is to store bit variables (or digital data), in which M500-M3071 are retainable. It can also support up to 256 digital inputs and 256 digital outputs, other than state register (S0-S899, 400 addresses retainable), Timer registers, Counter registers, High Speed Counter registers, Index Registers.
  • Four series targeting different markets. Our PLC has four different series with more and more features (mostly for motor and motion control) available. LX3V and LX3VP are for normal control systems. LX3VE and LX3VM are particular for motor control and complex motion control. With the same price, you can choose power supply as 24VDC or 240VAC, output type as Relay, Transistor or Mixed.

  • Flexible combinations (via Standalone Expansion Modules). With modular design, you only buy what you need. PLC starts from models with 8 DI and 6 DO, up until models with 36 DI and 24 DO. With expansion modules, you can get up to 256 DI and 256 DO or add at most 16 functional modules (for temperature measuring, analogue modules, weight modules etc ). Manuals can be found here. Note: Only PLC models with 12DI/12DO and more support expansion modules.

  • Expansion via add-on Cards. Expansion card is another way to expand PLC’s functions. Different to standalone expansion modules, card is easier to use as a clip-on to the slots on top of PLC. Manuals can be found here. Note: PLC models with less than 16DI/16DO have only one slot for expansion card. Models with 16DI/16DO or more have two slots.

  • Remote IOs for Distributed Control Systems. Currently, we have four remote IO models for extra digital inputs, extra digital outputs, Temperature measuring with Thermo-couple sensors and Weight modules (for load cells), which can talk to PLC via RS485(MODBUS).
  • Easy network for Distributed Control System. PLC models from LX3VP support N:N network. N:N network can connect up to 8 PLCs together to form a local network. Part of memory on each PLC in the network is automatically shared among all PLCs through RS485.
